A message by President Russell M Nelson to Priesthood Holders in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. "I urgently plead with each one of us to live up to our privileges as bearers of the priesthood. In a coming day, only those men who have taken their priesthood seriously, by diligently seeking to be taught by the Lord Himself, will be able to bless, guide, protect, strengthen, and heal others."

When everyone is special, then no one is special.

If each and every member of your subculture is referred to as a “Saint, ” the term is rendered benign.

If, aside from being faithful and free of major sin, the most important prerequisite to having priesthood power is payment of 10% of your gross income, you are forced to question who is granting this power.

Our goal is to cleanse ourselves “every whit from our iniquity” and to let “virtue garnish our thoughts unceasingly.” This is the only way to magnify our priesthood. The power of our priesthood is directly proportional to our personal righteousness. It is an awesome thing to feel the amazing power of God!

This is a well don’t video and a needed message.

Thoughts/question:
The RS broadcast of March 2024 really emphasized that women have the priesthood, or in other words covenant making/keeping women have just as much access to priesthood power and authority as any covenant making/keeping men.
This really got me thinking, then why am I ordained? What does it mean that I am ordained and stet apart to an office I. The priesthood? If all it take is covenant keeping, then why are men ordained and why do we have quorums?

And then there is the doctrine that ordinances and blessings are valid no matter the worthiness of the deliverer. So take your pick, usually two opposing doctrines are taught and members have chosen one or a nuance of either. Then one day you arise and finally realize your fellow saints don’t believe or know what you do. At last you must admit you were mistaken and your beloved church does not teach what you thought and the contrary opinions do not line up with your values.

Why does God not want women to have access to God's power?

I don't know why Mormons insist on demeaning Jesus. Jesus ALONE is the Great High Priest with ALL power. I hope you will put your trust in him and not in man.

The most ignorant thing I've heard today. Do any Mormans read the New Testament? Heb 9 & 10
