How to make a Mind Control Cerebro Helmet from X-men!

Here's how to make the Mind Control Cerebro helmet from X-men! Unless you're X-men's Professor X, I don't recommend this for beginners, since it involves zapping your brain.

Edit: I've mixed up the N-channel and P-channel Mosfets in my explanation, the diagram is correct, but the parts numbers are switched around as well. Just pretend I'm pointing to the appropriate Mosfets and pointing the current in the other direction :)

I sincerely thought I wouldn't be able to find someone crazier than Colin furze on this site

But this man is zapping his brain and remote controlling himself

That's another level

Man this video made me miss when I was learning about circuit boards and the electronics in high school in one of my foster homes. The idea of electricity has always fascinated me in a way I can't explain. I mean my hero is Nikola Tesla, just his mind and ability to understand electric and make it work. Its more then just power with physics and chemistry. I only really learned the beginning with definitions, purposes, and charts and formulas for them. But before I left I got really into my two classes, electronics/batteries and EPT. My teachers were so excited I was involved so much and really got me into the lessons. I was the only girl in the classes so my one teacher had this contest where we would use motors and batteries to make it go the fastest. Well my teacher wanted me to win because I was the first girl student he's had in a while and to kick their butt. He didn't tell me what to do but he helped me come up with a design by going through ideas that would best work and for the longest time mine was the fastest. Really helped me learned. And my electronics teacher could see how into the whole subject I was. We were in the making of cutting and laying the track for our own circuit boards for a strobe light, when I was moved to a new home. And the guidance counselor called my new, at the time, guidance counselor and told her how much my teachers missed me and that he wanted to make sure I was going to be okay. My foster mother Pam called me and said that my teacher finished my strobe light for me and wanted to mail it. All my teachers got together and mailed cards and got me a gift card to spend to wish me luck in my new home. I love electronics and electricity so much I had a 4.0 when all my classes what "algebra 2(until it switched to reading then it was boring), chemistry, EPT, electronics, woodshop, and gym." Especially with the mind set these courses were for me to go to tech to learn Electrical Occupations the following year, even though I didn't. I did eventually go to tech at my new, at the time, school. I was switched to a couples homes but they were all in the same district so I could actually go to tech, but I never got my certificate because I left at 18. Although I liked my other schools and had a good time I wasn't never more excited to go to school when something that I'm passionate about was my actual subjects. I wanted to go to school for it and make a career out of it so bad. But I had a kid in foster care, not what you think though, and when I left kinda just moved in with his step dad. Had another and with him and just got into the routine of working and paying bills. I want to go back to school but I can't afford to not work. Let alone start apply for the grant that's a process too. But this made me miss it. And really made me want to risk it just to do something I love again. I’m and equipment technician now and even though its close enough its not as technical as I want to do and kinda basic.

This is really cool, I hope you show a video to show steps to make it soon. It would be a pretty cool thing to show your friends!

Very nice explaination of the circuit
I would just say that it lacks any kind of fail-safe mechanism
If one of your regulation transistor were to fail the wrong way (shorting on the right one, high impedence on the left one) you'd end up with an unregulated current trough your head
Switching for a dedicated current source with safe failure modes would be better (but the circuit is great for anything not as critical and which would not require to put your head into ^^)

You confused the n- and p-channel MOSFETs while explaining. Check your link to the H-bridge. Though, interesting work. Thank you!

That moment when you want to make some of this stuff, but you aren't smart enough.

Ok, I have no idea about half the things you just explained, and I'm seriously considering start looking some electronics guides :'D

Awesome job, man, keep up the good work!^^

for some of these projects, it would be great to have links to all the exact parts.

Hey, Valve is likely to be announcing Left4Dead 3 soon. In Left4Dead 2 there's a little zombie (the Jockey) that jumps on your back and makes you stumble around uncontrollably. Maybe you can get them to pay you to make a video (or a live demo for E3) where a dummy zombie houses the battery pack?

I wanted to ask if the H-brigde is the same type of H-bridge you would use to control the direction of a motor, love watching these vids during quarintine
