my cat refuse meat aswell i didnt go to extreme lengths to try and get it to since it ate catfood but he enjoyed almost any berry given to him since we had A raspberry bush near i could catch him picking his own. if i was eating a banana he would follow me around until i gave him some he ate leftover spegetti squash really he was an odd cat im happy i found out about this case i would like to learn why this happened what could cause a cat to be repulsed by meat.

The point is that it is possible and that the beast was healthy, happy and well in this way.
It makes no difference if the animal needed special reasons to turn vegetarian.
It proves even more!!! So, they can even recognise a "reason" to it! lol ;)

all animals including humans need certain set of nutrients, and the current technology that we have allows us to take what's needed from plant sources to make up the whole range of the stuff that cats or dogs need in their diet. some people say they love their cat but they kill other animals to feed that cat. i guess you won't kill a dog to feed your cat. it's cruel to kill someone and cruel to cause health problems in dogs/cats that they develop from eating meat .

little tyke died at age 9, lions can live up to 20 years in captivity. a very short life for a captive lion, obviously her poor diet didn't help her longevity and shortened it drastically. lions cannot thrive on a plant based diet, if she was fed meat she would have lived a long healthy life but instead she suffered.
