I can't believe people are giving Gary, of all people, static about buying American. He literally served in the military! Also, do they think the items they are getting from Amazon, target, wal mart, etc are American made. Haha please.. As far as the knives go I ordered the first one based on your review almost a year ago and It is awesome! And I'm definately getting the German branded one for the Tackle box! The Front Hole In The Top Of The Blade Of The Small Clever And Almost All Older Cleavers, Was Designed Basically For Hanging The Cleaver On A Nail Or A Hook In Your Butchering Area Or Kitchen -
Most Of The Older Cleavers, Did Not Have A Lanyard Hole On The Back Of The Handle -

How is the Temu pool holding up?

As far as the hole on the meat cleaver goes, it actually serves multiple purposes. Hanging it up so you don't have a huge knife that could fall and really cause some damage. Also as a place to grab the blade if you got it stuck in bone or frozen meat.
