This video explains in a basic way the structure of the Aristotelian syllogism, which is a logical or argumentative structure based on deductive reasoning. Essentially the syllogism begins with a major premise establishing a general condition, this is followed by a minor premise about a specific example or case, then a conclusion based on the relationship between the major and minor premises.
