Great view and truly appreciate you sharing the journey and so many golden nuggets. I myself started on the Help Desk as well, and I always think it's a great place to start (often overlooked), as it allows you to see/hear tickets from all the disciplines in an organization (e.g., Security, Server Team, Networks, Identity, Cloud - didn't have it back then, etc.) and then over time, you can get a feel for where you think you want to focus based off of a more informed place of decision making. It's definitely a marathon and not a sprint, as many of us will pivot over time, but those fundamentals learned at a Help Desk (and even customer support/relations and communication skills) go a long way. New to the channel and again, thanks for presenting this knowledge.

Having XP in cybersecurity could help me to become a network admin and then network engineer? Taking my CCNA in few months. I have net+ and sec+. Been working in blue team for a little over 1 years. And have previous 3 years as tech support.
thanks in advance.

I've recently passed my CCNA couple days ago and now I'm just sitting at a crossroads. How exactly do I apply all the knowledge that I've learned from it? I have a bachelor degree in IT & Telecommunications and have 2 internships under my name. But I don't have the "hardware" experience, pretty much everything i've learned was virtual and remotely

Unable to get a Software Development job so far so i thought i go get the CCNA while I'm applying, I'm planning to sit for the exam in a couple of weeks

Thanks, Mike.
This is the exact path I built for myself. I may have jumped the gun a bit on putting my resume out early. I have two classes to go in Cyber Security @ DeVry. I am partial to Azure for the most. I will be studying for the CCNA Certification . Again, thanks. Please advise me of any other certifications in Networking Engineering. Thanks.

What’s the point of a resume then, if people are using LinkedIn more and more?
