My Uncle, who recently passed away at, was always referred to as a MIRACLE…He was born at home-In those days-and the doctor came to the home because it was an emergency. He was born weighing a Little over 1 POUND! The doctor said he would soon pass away & there was nothing he could do & went home…His mother knew to keep him warm & put him in the oven wrapped in a blanket placed in a shoebox on a very low temperature with the oven opened. She also fed him every 2 hours (I think) with a dropper of Condensed Milk…He lived until he was 80 yrs old!! A TRULY UNBELIEVABLY MIRACLE!!!

My son was born at 26 weeks weighing 1 lb., 13 ozs. and dropped to 1 lb., 7 ozs. We were told he may not walk, talk, or think for himself. He was in the NICU for three months and weighed a little over 5 lbs. at three months old. He is now 36, an AF veteran, an avid golfer, and the father of my two grandbabies. He is my miracle baby! Glory to GOD!

my husband was born 3 months premature and weighed 4lbs; his parents were stationed in japan at the time and they had no hope for survival; but, he did survive and turned out to be 6'2 and 180lbs and pure health.

That’s how tiny my baby was when I delivered 6 weeks early. He is the reason I went into the medical field becoming a L&D nurse. Thank you for this information ❤❤❤

Currently miraculously pregnant with my first, and probably only child, due to infertility, and today my baby just graduated from embryo to fetus. It is so fascinating how fast babies grow in the womb.

Wow, to think that the fetus is older than me is mind blowing.

I find super interesting that human embryos look very much like embryos of many other species. Few weeks later, it become evident for the untrained eye that it is a human and not another animal.

I think that having your body donated to science is one of the best things you can do. I think about all the videos you have done and the classes you have covered with your students and none of that would have been possible without those donations!

Thank you to the parents for their gift to science. It takes a huge amount of courage ❤🙏

Knowing the efforts to preserve bodies for scientific study is incredible enough on adult bodies, let alone a fetus. It's one of those situations where the premature death of a fetus is no doubt sad, but there is some comfort in the amount of knowledge gained from the study.

What you guys show us & explain to us is incredible. The people & their families who donate their bodies especially the woman/parents who donated their foetus gave us an amazing gift to learn so much from. The word thank you feels inadequate but it’s all we have ❤

I recently did IVF and currently have 16 blastocyst in storage. I’m going to be transferring two of these little blastocysts in two weeks. I hope the two little embryos make it and stick ❤
It truly is amazing how small we all start out as
