As a mother who just gave birth to a baby boy six weeks ago, this makes me sad. I can’t imagine how much this little guy’s passing hurt his parents. I know his body has gone on to teach a lot to medical students, but all I can think about is the pain his poor mother endured knowing that her sweet little baby was dead.

Ahh man. This makes me so sad he didn't live to see this world. Thank you to the parents for their generosity to share their son with the world to educate us. Couldn't have been easy. Wonder what they had named him. 🥰

There's this anatomy museum near my city and I remember our school taking us there for the school picnic in fifth grade. Babies with swollen brains, conjoint necks, babies without skulls, pregnant woman and her baby, jawless fetus– it equally creeped me out and fascinated me at ten. I am seventeen now and it still fascinates me. I love anatomy 😭

The fact that fluid substance was able to preserve and keep that fetus in it's condition for 30 years is remarkable, but it's also very sad to me at the same time.
