Story time! I'm a man and I identify as a masculine person. But, my friend introduced me to your videos and I was actually incredibly inspired by your style and the feminine aspect of fashion that I hadn't really explored before. I'm kind of a spontaneous person and... A couple weeks ago I wore a dress to school. Obviously I was terrified and I thought I might even get dress coded, but it was important for me to explore the feminine aspects of my life that I had kinda suppressed for a while. Much to my surprise, I got a lot of compliments! (One was even from my Psychology teacher ahaha). Its only my senior year of high school and I'm so overjoyed that people like you have allowed me to express parts of myself that I didn't know I had. I'm sorry if this is a bit long, I just want you to know that you've made such a positive impact on my life. And I'll always love you for that. Thank you Katie :)

Exactly! I hate how people use categories to describe style; an outfit can't just be only "trendy" or "boho" or whatever generic label that's out there :P So glad someone agrees with me!

i live in a really small suburban town in germany and i just feel like everybody looks the same, bc if you wear one thing that isn’t plain literally everybody stares at you as if you murdered someone. but i actually like to dress in crazy colours and patterns not only bc it is my style but also to see the people’s hilarious reactions. once an old lady literally dropped her bag when she saw me :D

This really helped me because I have personally been struggling with my identity and who I am as a person and I think a lot of it come down to style because I don't dress one certain way. And usually people stereo type you by the way you dress so Iv been so confused as who I am but this helped me understand. Iv always been confident but now I feel more confident with my personal style being a range of different things

You are cute as ever!!! Great advice, too. In the past few years I've been on a quest to improve my style and express myself more through my clothes. I used to have a closet jam-packed with funky thrift and vintage finds that for whatever reason I felt uncomfortable in and had a lot of trouble styling. Consequently, I just picked the same thermal shirt and skinny jeans off the floor every morning and felt kinda lame for it. It took getting rid of about 80% of my wardrobe for me to figure out what actually makes me feel cute AND authentic. I'm finally at the point where I know my style and feel great in what I wear- not that I don't still buy the occasional item that never gets worn. Anyway, well said. And I agree: It's important to push yourself now and then to try new things, and the thrifting is a great way to do so!

Your videos inspire me a lot.😍 I really like your style and you make me feel very confident when I were some clothes that ordinary people wouldn't wear. Sometimes I look at your lookbooks they make me think if I like it or not but I always return to the point that I like them because your outfits have beautiful details and they look perfectly together. I know that nobody really care what people wear, but people always wear very simple things and it makes me feel very bored of people outfits, I wish everybody had this sense of style.

So I've been feeling really... stuck. After years of just pulling random clothes out of my closet and wearing them, I'm kinda over it. So I've been looking at lookbooks. I'm surprised at how often I'll gravitate towards the "preppy" outfits. I've also been liking the late 60s fashion as well as the 70s. And of course I love the 90s but sometimes it feels like too many style choices. So I'm really just taking it v slow bc I do want some consistency lmao.
