I don't think I will ever be able to put into words what this song makes me feel and where it takes me, it makes me feel nostalgic for a life I never lived

My brother loved this song. He just passed away a couple days ago. My parents asked me to look up a few songs he loved to listen too for his celebration of life and this was the first song I thought of. Man this made me sad but this song is legendary. When he would pick me up from school in his car, he would be blasting this song.

I'll never forget patrolling in the Air Force, stationed in England one rainy night, and listening to the radio, and then this song came on the radio. It took my breath away.

I'm in my mid-50's, but always have an appreciation for good music.
Good music transcends time, generations & your age

What a cathartic song. Even in 2021. Takes me 10 years back.

This song is forever in my heart. I will remember my past, but I will move on. The past made me who I am today. I love you all.

This song should be studied by psychologists because it offers an array of emotions, unlocks memories that never even existed and sends you away from this planet for 9 minutes. This piece makes you filled with joy and depressed at the same time.

I remember... This song carried through many late nights grinding 99's in RuneScape. Always my favorite song on the playlist back then. Good times.

This is not a song. It's a piece of art.

When you travel through life with this song in your pocket, nothing can ever hurt you.

I listened to this song with the love of my life. It was the most beautiful night I have ever had dancing with her. I come back to this once a year to know, what it feels like to be loved. No one will ever replace Georgia

Oh boy does this take me back to one of the saddest moments. My dog had a operation and it wasnt succesful, we took her home and she was literally dying in my arms the whole night. She couldnt fal asleep because she suffered so much. I was calming her down so she could for a little bit. We grew up together, we were sleeping and playing together she was like a sister and very intelligent creature also. She saved my mom from death calling for neighbours. I will allways remember you, you beautiful little heart 😞💔

I know I'm not in the consumer age group that this tune is directed toward (I'm 62 yrs old), but I still love it's melodic tone. I'm partial to this tune and another of Joel's tunes, called "The Veldt." Unfortunately, I have not found any other tunes of his, that get my feet tapping like I was a freaking drummer. I guess that's where the age difference comes in? At any rate, if you know of any of his tunes that are as melodic, with vocals, please let me know. I have those two tunes on my iPod and I'd like to add more like them.

I've seen this comment elsewhere, but I'll say it again:
This song ages like fine wine.

I'm a rock drummer, but I've got ALL the time in the world for this piece of peace. Wonderful melody, and a soundscape that I want to hang my hat on.

This track does not get old... just better with time. Absolutely beautiful.

This came out right before my mom passed. Every word was exactly what I was going through. I played this over and over for months and it got me through. Even now as I listen, I tear up. Much love.

In an era of manufacturered pop, auto tune, fake celebrity, and social isolation, this is exactly what we need!

It’s quite funny that we all going back to this tune ..each of us have different memories bond to this music, yet it connect us on some higher level.

Power of music!
