Here's a hot tip: If someone on your team is dead and you're also about to be dead, call in a Reinforce strategem but then just hold it, don't throw it. When you die, your corpse will drop the Reinforce strategem and it will call all team members back... including YOU!

I will recommend at least one person to carry the Eagle Strafe Strategem on each run. Onto of the usual benefits of the Eagle Strategems, the Strafe has the fastest call in to time on top periods, an easy to predict attack pattern, great crowd control, and minimal risk of collateral damage.

I’ve clutched so many times with this one Stratagem because I’ve learned how effective it can be.

One option in the menu that I discovered is 'Dynamic Aim Mode' under Gameplay. It is extremely useful for people who like switching between over the shoulder ADS and first person ADS without the hassle of extra clicking. When you hold down right click, it goes to over the shoulder but when you tap on it, it automatically goes into first person and stays there. Needs a bit of getting used to, but it has been so useful to me. Unfortunately it's only for PC players and doesn't apply to controllers.

Been talking about this game for a while with my office mates and last year when it was first announced they didn’t seem so interested because we all wanted to play Baldurs gate 3 together instead because we are all big fans of D&D but now that helldivers 2 is finally out, I’ve convinced them to buy it and I can’t wait to squad up with them this weekend and do our part to enforce galactic freedom!

Don’t forget the Hell Bombs around the map littered in the landscape… they vaporize EVERYTHING!

Another approach to main objective: do them first, then have fun exploring and doing side objectives. If things go sideways, the overall mission will still be considered a success! Even if you all die or no one gets extracted.

Today I managed to hit a spore tower with a Recoilless from roughly 382 meters away. Fuckin great feeling when you land that on your first shot. And in doing so, you learn stuff like that does drop. It takes ages, but they dont fly in a straight line like most games.

Overall great video, with very useful tips! (like the weapon "modification" menu/hold R menu). I'm not sure if you'll mention it later in the video or not, as I'm roughly halfway through, but Stealth is VERY useful. Especially against bots. I was surprised, but its actually a thing. You can sneak right up next to them if you keep still. Avoiding patrols in the Creek system while you hide in dense foliage, and they march right by you.. its very intense.

Also, when possible: Hit the Automaton raising its arm to launch a flare - unless you love the feel of taking down dropships with a recoilless. The same seems to work for the bugs, but you have to hit them faster. The ones throwing spit or spores or.. something, into the air to alert the hive.

when you can, unlock the autocannon, its is EXTREMELY op, and if anyone dies on a bile titan mission, resupply them and have them land on the titan it will kill it instantly

Heads up players, reloading shotguns early does NOT waste mags, since shotguns don't use mags, but use individual shells.

Press down on the d pad to use your own backpack supply pack, hold square with weapon out to choose scope zoom, light, and fire rate/auto or semi, and don't use mines lol your team will hate you*

I once had a run where i dealt 12000 friendly fire damage. How so? I found a unexploded hell bomb that landed itself in one of the big armored bugs. I then proceeded to throw a grenade at it to see if it would blow up....Oh it definitely blew up alright, it killed everything within a 100 meter radius instantly

This game simply works because there are many helldiver vets to accompany new divers. so missions seem to have higher success and completion rates than the first game, which I like.

You can also destroy nests by dropping a pod on it, including your fellow helldivers’ when they respawn.

Subbing simply for putting a tip as useful as the hold R menu at the start of the video, didn't even know that was a menu

Hey fun tip, if you die make sure to aim your pod at large hard targets when you respawn. It's 1 hit kill for whatever you land on. Took my first hulk and my first bile titan this way.

some inaccuracies I noticed, not 100% on these but this is just my experience so dont take them too seriously

not a anti matter rifle it's anti material rifle

hive nests dont drop samples, sometimes I'll clear a medium nest and there wont even be the spawned ones so it's not guaranteed

not all light armor has the map ping effect some have stuff like more stim or grenade capacity, increased limb health, throwing range ect

to my knowledge the radar stations dont reveal every POI but something around half as missions I got a radar done in I was still finding undiscovered POIs and extracted with samples missing, sometimes even half

not an inaccuracy but a tip about the supply backpack, when giving someone else a supply theres a small animation you need to do before that person receives the supply, I've tried many times to supply someone as they/I walked past and I thought it counted but didn't so just make sure that you're both standing still and you give it a second to complete, also the supply from the resupply stratagem or the backpack are actually full ammo refills but give 2 grenades and 2 stims, I thought it only refilled ammo by 50% for a long time cause of my many hours in DRG, also try to ask if your team needs ammo or how much they have before giving them ammo, they might be low in one weapon without realizing they're almost full in something else

about the sentries, mortar sentries are by far the biggest threat to both enemies, outposts/hives but also YOU. the amount of times I've been killed by a mortar cause some bugs flanked me so the mortar barraged right on top of me, if it's shooting near YOU you're almost guaranteed to die cause of it's spread so if someone puts a mortar down MAKE DAMN SURE there is nothing in close range, I've also heard that staying in close proximity to the mortar helps cause it wont shoot itself but I haven't confirmed that

I would just highlight that going prone allows you avoid so much damage. Danger close air strikes, sentry turret fire and loads more. Dive prone but also just manually going prone allows huge benefits. Keep an eye out for little holes you can jump in in a tricky situation and you can often survive crazy explosions
