Ajit, you are a great coach. I always get nuggets of wisdom from your videos. Sometimes we have to use "small pictures" in order for clients to see the bigger ones. I just finished a certification as an Associate NLP Practitioner and can help clients create the pictures in their minds that they need to see.

Dear Ajith! First of all: thank you again for sharing this important summery of benefits to hire a life coach!
I would like to add, that I find it useful to help my clients to find their strength within. I love to use spirituell tools like a guided meditation during my on-on-one session, as many people don't know how to meditate and I can share my experience as a Yoga teacher with it. It also makes a nice round up / ending for the session.

Great video and explanation. THANKS. These statements could help us as coaches to market our coaching business, since we as coaches don´t sell coaching, we sell benefits. Coaching is something people don´t understand or missunderstand, but these or more benefits are what people ask for in Life. But finnally, a Life Coach practice is not complete until he or she provoques transformations in people`s lives, not only transactional changes or Problem solvings, but personal transformation comes when we defy our clients to think different, to change the observant.

Very clear video. 100% Ajit ! :) In our country- word "coach" is not translated, we use it just as it is from original language....so most of the people havent a clue, who is "coach" at all. So, I came with kind of my understanding, definition - what coach does _ or _ what I do : coaching is conversation with intention (to grow, bloom, support, evolve, see more)...

All of this is true, but it’s also very idealistic … there can be chances that your life coach is wrong about many things and direct you in a way that *they* think is good for you and your life, not what you think is good for you or something neutral .. in reality this is granting too much power to having someone directing how you experience the world and make decisions . Although the experience can expand you, it can also end up misaligning you with your path and your true desires in life .. especially if it’s not a good match . Not every coach is ethical or knowledgeable about human psychology.

For those of you looking for a life coach. Please make sure you get a life coach with experience. Ask you life coach the following questions.

1. How many clients have you coached?
2. What results have you gotten your clients?
3. What certifications do you have?

If you are going to hire a life coach ask yourself would I like to trade places with them? Would I want their lifestyle. If the answer is no keep looking.

I would want a coach that has coached thousands of people with a track record of success. I would also want a coach with many certifications not just one. I have noticed that coaches with one certification seem to try to get everyone to fit in the small box of that one certification.
