Brent was so lucky, he got to do one on one scenes with Kelly, Nimoy and Doohan.

"Almost as bad"
That voice of derision. Classic Kelley

DeForest still perfectly nails McCoy: As McCoy got older, he got tired enough - though still sharp - that he reverts more deeply to a casual Southern manner. A beautiful cameo!

137 years old and still protesting about having his atoms scrambled from being beamed in a transporter. Classic McCoy!

"Almost as bad." Perfect line. Classic Deforest delivery. Right up there next to "I liked him better before he died."

"What's so damn troublesome about not having died?" 😊

McCoy looks like Emperor Palpatine after a bender

Still love that last line from the late Deforest Kelly as Bones.

*_She's a big ship, but she's got the right name. You remember that. You treat her like a lady, and she'll always bring you home!_*

When Worf says McCoy's a "remarkable man", you can tell he meant it.

He's still got one more dig in on Spock

DeForest Kelley cranked up his southern to 11, and his crotchety old man-ness.

I don't care what anyone says, his accent is perfect here. He got too old to give a shit anymore about watering it down for work.

Deforest Kelley. A Cameo for the ages.

In a comic book where McCoy was on the TNG Enterprise again, he was going back to a planet he visited nearly 100 years ago and became a celebrated hero. McCoy complaining said, "Don't know why we're doing this. I don't feel like a hero. Commander Riker, do you feel like a hero?" Riker said, "No, I'm just glad to be alive." McCoy said, "Exactly!"

Notice the extreme respect in Worf's voice for McCoy. A veteran of all the most dangerous conflicts and crises, always in thd first rank rushing forward to give aid. Yet quite capable of combat himself especially to protect the wounded. A trait we also see in SNW Chapel.

Since Klingons value courage and disdain for risk of death its hard to imagine Worf holding any other view. McCoy would be THE most respected Admiral in Starfleet given Kirk, Spock & Scotty are no longer enlisted. Lower Decks has to tell us what happens to Uhura, Sulu, Una, M'Benga or Singh.

Didn't realize DeForest was so much older than the rest of the original cast but he remembers his lines better than I could.
