How the beach changed my life. I've learned so much!

Let me tell you a little about how the beach changed my life. When I wasn't at the beach, all I could think about was being there. It was downright depressing being in an office when I knew the beach was so close. I decided I needed to change my life and make the beach my office. The beach has changed so much for me, and I couldn't be happier!!

A bad day at the beach beats a good day at the office.

I found you about 3 years ago. Two years ago my husband tragically passed. You have kept me company throughout many tearful nights and you have inspired me. The joy in your voice fills me with positivity and this past weekend I went to the gulf here in Louisiana. The shells were beat up and not great but I could identify them even from the pieces!!! So proud of myself. I did come home with some tinies. Thank you. You do make a difference!!!❤❤❤

I have a bad back and love a huge shell pile. I discovered the love of finding the super tiny micro shells, and now my grand daughter does as well. So cute on display.

I have enjoyed watching your videos for a couple of years now. I was really into sea shells back in my twenties and early thirties when we were doing a lot of scuba diving in Florida and the Caribbean. They attracted me because they were so beautiful and unique. I made two displays that have been displayed in my home for decades - a shadow box and an octagonal glass holder. I'm ashamed to say that the rest were in three large boxes in my basement until three years ago when my daughter-in-law asked me if I had any shells my granddaughter could use for a school project. So we got them out and she was incredulous since they had been going to Anna Maria Island for spring break and collecting shells there. To my delight they asked us to accompany them last week and I am as shell obsessed as ever. We were lucky that there was a storm and lots of shells washed up. I found my first baby's ear! Anyway, thank you for your videos that whetted my appetite for shelling again. I'm hoping to plan a trip to even more fertile shelling grounds next winter. I also wanted to thank you for stressing care of the living creatures and both of my granddaughters were carefully returning living coquinas to the water. We also removed quite a lot of trash from the beach, although we didn't have a scale!
