All we OGs (that is, those of us who still primarily use computers) want is the ability to choose a frame as the Shorts thumbnail in Studio Desktop. No text and no filters is fine. IT CANT BE THAT HARD 😢😢😢

I don't know what your team was thinking but it would be great if that massive 'paid promotion' label was turned into an icon for thumbnails instead of text, or removed completely. I don't see the point in it. In video, yes. Thumbnail - NO. It's so annoying clicking on that thing 50% of the time I click on a thumbnail and get diverted to the help page. I'm getting in the habit of not going back to the site and just moving on to something else when it happens. I'm sure it isn't helping Youtube or creators to annoy users and have traffic needlessly driven off site...

Please allow us to select a frame from a Short as a thumbnail on desktop as well. I make Shorts but I only use the desktop interface to upload them, I never use the mobile app for that, nor am I interested in doing this.

It's quite simple...the ability to upload completely custom thumbnails for shorts from any device. All you have to do is allow for a 9x16 upload option in addition to the 16x9 upload option. I assure you it is not rocket science.

Hello, this feature is not a bad idea but what we as creators would like also is the ability to choose custom thumbnails from any device we use. Mobile, desktop, etc. 👌
