The only downside is that by doing this you are also setting salary expectations for that Playing time - if they come in at 50K a week as important player, now they are fringe player at 50K a week, sometimes you fringe players might ask for his money too

There is a better one. Transfer listed him then change it to backup then immediately remove him from transfer list. This works to 90% of all players

Considering players often get mad at you for dropping their promised playing time this doesn't really work but 50-50

In PC you can right click on player name, click squad and find agreeable playing time.

You can right click and it's also there, way quicker and also get a message before you confirm

In past FM’s, I always change everyone’s role unless it’s star striker. Can’t be dealing with their bs 😅

Haven't seen that before. Usually I'm on good enough form that they accept being squad players. If that doesn't work they only need to start the match. Actual playing time from starting doesn't matter. Paying from the bench doesn't work, even if they get more time than starting.

I m for player-rating through match 0-5 instead of 5-10. Start on 2, 5 and can go down to 0 on bottom and up to 5 on top.

I send them to the sub 19 team but I think this trick it's much better 😅

i gave up on trying to make them happy it backfires in most of cases, as soon as i get complaining i put them on sale, i cant let individual ruin entire team, there is thousands of others who can replace that player
