I choose to believe that he would have settled somewhere and become a mysterious, enigmatic, yet very silly Chocolate Factory owner. But Dooku would be vehemently opposed to him so much so that he would become a dentist.

I'd assume his crimes are to great to be excused for the rebellion to pardon him and allow to join.
An independent warlord is more likely.

I always liked to think about if Grievous became a bounty hunter. He could get shit done! Just needs an inhaler 😂

My personal favourite scenario is that Grievous goes to Mustafar well before Anakin gets there and warns the Separatist council Sidios betrayed them and Grievous, the entire CIS council and the remaining Droid army’s and fleets go into hiding in either the outer rim, wild space or the unknown regions developing new construction facilities to create new droid armies and new fleets. Eventually coming out of hiding with a new droid army and separatist navy that could even rival the empire. Conquering many imperial held former CIS worlds.

Perhaps this would lead to the empire focusing more heavily upon the new separatist threat allowing the rebellion to spread faster and become stronger enough to strike at the empire sooner.

Note: I know that sounds ridiculous and honestly it’s impossible but man it sounds epic how grievous would come in and utterly stomp some Imps with his droid hordes.

It would be interesting to see him find as much old separatist equipment as he could and use it to help the rebellion or use it to start up a crime syndicate

I feel like he would join the enemy of his new enemy meaning he would tie the knot that is his hate for the republic and end his evil ways, but still keep his way of combat to combat the new Empire all while still being a pawn regardless of who he is the pawn of. He was kinda done dirty if you ask me

Actually, grevious wasn't supposed to die, unlike count, so he would have become a general of the empire

Grievous would have been a lot like Maul after the clone wars, he would use a small force of battledroids but criminals, thugs, and gangs would fill the gaps in his force and he becomes a crime lord and his purpose would probably be revenge against Palpatine unlike Maul who wanted to kill Kenobi

I have to add one more thing. Maul hates Grevious with great passion for destroying Dathomir cult. So he probably Will try to hunt his ass as well in this scenario.
