Thank you Christy for constantly eating dirt to bring these videos to us. Your drone skills, the audio, the excellent camera work and editing, all come together to make this the best tractor channel on YouTube. Thank you, your hard work does not go unnoticed. Also, thanks for the comparison. My biggest question is which works best with a backhoe?

I just got a quote on a loaded 4075R to replace our 10 year old 5083e. Our 5 series is just too big to do much more than mow a couple spots on our complex. The 4 series, with a smaller flex wing grooming mower and ehydro, should allow us to mow more, as well as use it for more tasks around the complex. We have plans to use it for snow removal as well which we never even though about with the 5 series.

Thank you for all your videos on the 4 series tractors. They have been very informative and helpful.

Thank you for your review/comparison Tim. I've been looking at the 5e for a few years but was conflicted when the 4075r came out. Just purchased a my23 5075e today and could not have felt more confident with my purchase after your review videos of each tractor.

Great video! This was what I was wanting to hear between the 2 models. The 4044m we currently have is great for our 10 acre farm but we do custom square and round baling on about 150 acres so we have a 75hp New Holland as well to help with that. Wanting something with a cab now so that the summer heat isn't as exhausting.

You could buy the 5075e and a 3025e for the same price as the 4075r, thats crazy. Great comparison, thank. Goodworks tractor would have said they were the same because theyre both 75hp.

Hi Tim! I’ve been watching your videos for about a year now and I just signed the paper work for an OOS 5075e. It’s going to be too big for what I actually need for now, but I’d rather have more tractor than I need then regret not getting enough. I’m glad JD went with bigger front tires for the new 23 model.

Great comparison between the 4075R and 5075E!

Excellent. Yes, please, on the 5M. That’s what I’m looking at especially because of the transmissions.

As they say, “different strokes for different folks.” Very interesting and objective comparison, Tim. Although I appreciate the benefits of the 5 series, for me and my uses, my 4R cab tractor with hydro trans is handy and the only way for me to go. Your comparison confirmed my preference. Thanks for the info. Blessings.

Hey Tim, enjoyed the video, I have a 2019 5065e with the power reverser, cab tractor and I have no problem with the clutch being Jerky, very smooth, enjoy your channel

I have that same 5075E that you have Tim. There is a trick to the clutch that took me a bit to figure out. Start out in B4 or C1 at idle and the friction point of the clutch is much easier to control. I use B4 most of the time for loader work and it takes some getting use to but I got it down pretty good now. The MSL loader on this machine is one of the biggest plus's I'd say, it's a beast of a loader. I came from a 4520 and wanted a cab and more HP and I don't regret it. The A/C is amazing! lol

Great informative video and thank you guys for sharing! I own a 2022 5090E (which I know is larger than what you compared today) and I love it. Ironically, I had a 4066 (similar to the 4075R you tested) and I really loved the hydrostatic transmission; however the cab was too small and I just needed a little more power. A few months after I traded up to my 5090E my JD dealer got in a 5125R and I LOVED that tractor; however it was a little out of my price range but certainly an awesome machine. I have added some upgrades to my 5090E that I assume you could probably add to a 5075E. Those upgrades include a door kit (with steps) and an instructor or “buddy seat”. I’ve got everything I really need and just love doing field work with my 5090E. In the future I would be interested in a video comparing an E series machine to an M series. Thanks again for the great video.

Very interesting comparison video with good opinions. As for me I have older equipment, one hydro compact for loader work and old gear drive garden tractor for any garden work.

Great comparison Tim. Wish I would have had data like this before I bought my JD4066M. Don't get me wrong, I like my 4066 but I sure could benefit from a heavier machine with stronger loader and a higher lift height. However I have grown accustom to my 4066 and learned to work to it's limits. Hyrostat trans is great and it is a very reliable machine.

Love to see 5e vs 5m if you ever get the chance, love the weight breakdown as I’m trying to size a tractor for a trailer and a trailer for a tractor lol

Cool comparison, though I likely won’t ever be in the market for either. Pricing v. features in different series’s is very interesting. An example to the extreme: People might call me crazy for buying a b2650 w/cab for $30k a few years ago when you could easily get a cabless 3 series for less. Cab was that important to me! Keep up the good work!
