News flash everyone: Renee Zellwegger is not the "original" Roxie, and acting is about interpretation, not just copying someone else's version of the character. If she would have sang the whole thing just like the recording I'm sure you are all comparing it to, it would be a huge disappointment because it's just a copy of another person's Roxie. I loved her performance. She made Roxie seem even more heartless in the fact that she sounds so happy to manipulate her husband.

I actually like how subtle Roxie is. It’s feels more like Roxie’s whole loving innocent facade she puts on, Like she’s trying to manipulate and keep that persona with the audience as well. It also creates such good contrast between her blunt manipulative outburst at the end. It’d be so cool to see a vers of the show to where she slowly losses that facade and gets more sporadic as she desperately tries to keep it with both the characters and the audience.

It's not "supposed" to be anything it's their show and their interpretation of the characters just because you lot watched the movie and can't think of your own ideas

She has a lovely voice but she isn't correctly portraying the emotions of the character in her performance

That Ryan Brown dude playing Amos sounds so extremely bored to death he needs to improve on his acting skills a lot
