It's amazing that the "phone wars" have lead to so much progress in phone camera and features. For the average user, which is most of us, you can't go wrong with either one. It's all a matter of preference over small details.

Samsung takes the lead when it comes to dynamic range and natural color specially on the skin tone. The Iphone is leaning on the warmer which is somehow good but not on all scenarios specially in portrait shot.

The Galaxy looked a little lighter in most shots but it's a very close call bar the zoom comparison. If you own either one of these you'd be happy I think.

I barely take video so mobile photography is my thing. Samsung did great since S21U and I don't hesitate to jump gun on S22U. Just don't like the "too" warm tone of iPhone photo and love the natural tone Samsung has these day. S pen is superb!

It's interesting how they go apposite by now. Samsung used to be more saturated and Apple used to lean to neutral with warmer color before but it's really OPPOSITE now! Haha!

The standard frame rates are 30 and 60 fps, 24 fps is more for professionals, which is why Samsung put it in pro mode.

A few years back, I'd argue that they can't possibly make phone cameras any better and they usually do. Between then and now, there is absolutely no comparison. BOTH phones take outstanding photos and videos. Only now, instead of thinking they can't possibly make cameras any better, I wonder what they'll be capable of in the future. I dig this technology. BTW, S22 Ultra user and I can't knock iPhone. Like they said, it comes down to user preference. I just happen to be on the Samsung side.

Compared to other reviewers where you see bigger difference due too format uploading and youtube compression, you guys really nailed the quality on a fair comparison.
