MSIA Founder John-Roger shares we can come awake that we were born the Lord

How do we discover who we truly are inside? MSIA (the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness) teaches Soul Transcendence — becoming aware of yourself as a Soul and as one with God, not as a theory but as a living reality. Your Soul is who you truly are; it is more than your body, your thoughts, or your feelings. It is the highest aspect of yourself, where you and God are one.

MSIA offers an approach that focuses on how to incorporate spirituality into our everyday life in a tangible, workable way. We call it “practical spirituality.” It’s using everything in our life to expand and grow in a way that allows us to relate to the world from the inside out, from our loving center, and to explore the nature of our true essence as a Soul.

For over 50 years, MSIA founder John-Roger devoted his life to being a Wayshower for others to find Spirit within themselves and demonstrate how to live life in greater loving, happiness, and peace. J-R’s humor, joy, and unconditional loving embraced and touched people around the planet. His good works continue on, guiding those studying the path of Soul Transcendence.

John Morton inspires and educates people around the world on the teachings of the spiritual heart and recognizing the blessings in all situations. He serves as Spiritual Director of MSIA, anchors the Mystical Traveler Consciousness and guides those on the path of Soul Transcendence. John is an accomplished author, masterful facilitator, and loving friend to all.

MPES212 A Moment Of Peace You Were Born the Lord
RUN TIME: 2:45

John-Roger, DSS

J-R: We have to come awake that we were born the Lord. Isn't that kind of a strong statement? I mean, you look at and you go, "That's ridiculous, I can't do that.” Well, maybe we're wrong. I don't think you can have a Lord that you could relate to, unless that Lord had done everything that you can, and have done, unless He has done it all, all. Just think, if you were praying to the Lord and you were an alcoholic, and He never had tasted anything, didn't know anything about alcohol, you might think, ‘well, how do you really understand how I feel? How do you really understand that I smoke 30 packs of cigarettes a day? How do you really understand that I'm hooked on heroin? How do you really understand all this? How do you relate to me, and how do I relate to you? What is the means by which we do that?’

Jesus Christ was born in a manger, signifying wherever we find ourself, that's when we birth. Right now, wherever you are, inside of you, you can start rebirthing, re-Christing. And, there must be innocence. And to have innocence there must be naiveté. And to have that there must be forgetfulness. And to have forgetfulness, you must have done forgiveness. And so we enter into Christ action, which is forgiving. And we forget. And we enter into the awareness of newness and innocence. And once again, Christ is born among us. And even through sadness, and upsetness, and other thoughts, and straying away from what we're talking about here, and still coming back. You still did it. And you still did it. But if you did it, and you don't keep doing it, it won't count that you did it. Do you understand that? It only counts that you keep doing it each day. When you get out of your manger, fluff up the hay.
