I’m gonna shoot for 476. I think 1/4 is the perfect size for still having the sculpture ability of traditional locs but the femininity of micros! Cant wait for your journey!!!

Your mom is doing a great job! I have a great respect for people who do this for a living, and I don't understand why some complain about the price of a loc install. Looking at your install it's well worth the price most charge. You might end up with btw 475-500 locs based on the density of your hair. Good luck and I can't wait for the final look.

My hair is as short as yours too and I just installed my micro lock last month, I installed it myself following your method on partings, I just posted videos of mine, check it out friends, i love love it, took me about a week, more than 400 locks, I did 2 strands and interlock the root, I also posted a video on the best product to use in order to avoid itch, flakes & Dryness because I started experiencing that, anyway I will continue to uploads updates on my new lock
