HLA-B27 Gene and a Marker use to Identify the Spine and Joint Pain How Important is it to be Tested

The HLA-B27 Gene is to identify people with many autoimmune disease. There are a number of conditions that can cause a person to be positive with this Gene.
Is it important to be positive? is negative means a person is clear form autoimmune disease? it's not true in both ways. some people that is positive does not have any symptoms, but some negative people have the same symptoms.
Having a good rheumatologist is very important to work with you to manage your conditions early.

Thankyou for this I was HLA-B27 Negative with a positive mri for sacroiliitis, and my GP would not listen too me and refused to refer me to a Rheumatologist so I had to pay private I am in the uk and I was diagnosed with AS and have alot of damage to my SI Joints so glad I didn't listen to the gps and listened to my gut.
