Walz was the wrong pick. Beshear was the correct pick. Beshear is who would have convinced independents and Republicans to vote for her.
Walz is great, but choosing him isnt going to win a swing state for her. It was the right choice to pick a governor so no congressional seat was lost, but Beshear is the governor in a red state with a 70% approval rating. Beshear is the one who is a practicing Christian, a deacon, and who knows how to actually work across the aisle. She chose wrong. Hopefully she can still win, but bad call. Both candidates made the wrong choice.
