Fair play, that jab hid the uppercut perfectly, jake planned that punch and executed it perfectly. Looks like he's improved a lot

He looked way better here than he did in his other fights. You can tell his footwork and jab are massively better than before. Props to him for taking a real boxing route and not just fighting influencers. He may hype himself up as future champ way too much, but he just 1RKO a guy with a better record than him. Even if it is just regional level competition, Andre is still a real boxer and is way better than most of the influencer scene.

i cant hate on it. Very solid and clean uppercut ko against an ACTUAL boxer. Sure he wasnt top level, but gotta give him credit. He is building himself up as a boxer now, and to me, that is respectable.

Jake’s improvement from his first fight is insane, I criticised him a lot in his first couple of fight but credit to him he looks every bit like a boxer in there I think he will destroy Tommy in the rematch!

The most eye catching improvements from Paul was his jab/lead hand control. His ring control & foot placement for proper shots like the upper take tons of repetition. This is a thinking mans sport.

Was Andre a tough opponent? No, not really. Was that jump forward into an uppercut a fantastic display of distance control and power? Absolutely. Only way forward for Jake is tougher opponents.

Props to Jake for the KO. Boxing is one of the only sports where being a “pro” doesn’t mean much. As crazy as it sounds, a lot of people could get a license if they truly wanted one. ( assuming they’re healthy ) I hope Jake stays active and continues to climb the ladder, but finding credible opponents are gonna be tough for a while.

In case ya'll were wondering why that uppercut caught Andre by surprise, if you watch the fight Jake is working his double jab. In the knockout exchange you can see jake throws the jab and it almost looks like he is going to double jab again, you can even see Andre glancing at Jake's left hand in the slowmo. You can tell he had zero clue that uppercut was coming, caught completely off gaurd. Like Mike said, the punches you don't see coming are the ones that knock you out.
