Michael Gerard Tyson (born June 30, 1966) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1985 to 2005. Nicknamed "Iron Mike" and "Kid Dynamite" in his early career, and later known as "the Baddest Man on the Planet", Tyson is regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time. He reigned as the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990. Tyson won his first 19 professional fights by knockout, 12 of them in the first round. Claiming his first belt at 20 years, 4 months, and 22 days old, Tyson holds the record as the youngest boxer ever to win a heavyweight title. He was the first heavyweight boxer to simultaneously hold the WBA, WBC and IBF titles, as well as the only heavyweight to unify them in succession. The following year, Tyson became the lineal champion when he knocked out Michael Spinks in 91 seconds of the first round. The last time he had that love in him for boxing he was in to it this is his life he had to fight all his life to survive Jake doesn’t know anything about surviving in the hood Mike knows how to survive in the ring this is the rebirth of Mike Tyson finishing what he started.

Boxing is all promotion and scheduling. You schedule the guys you know you can be at and promote it like it's gonna be a big fight. The lesser guy knows he might lose but has a big payday. A good boxer isn't necessarily a good fighter or good at the sport but has a good team to put him in the right places at the right time to generate money for the business. That's what Paul does. He's not the most skilled guy in the ring but he has the hype to get a bunch of lesser dudes and old dudes to fight him and take a payday in trade for an ass whooping.

Being half way thru my back nine I understand the urge Mike has. When your young you can almost always depend on the best thing you can do to perk yourself up when ya need it, but not so much later. Then one day ya crave that boost again realizing your body might not be able to cash that check your Mind wanted to write. I did it skiing with son at 68 yrs old. It was a last minute decision. My sons friends baled & it was a rare chance for him, so I made the trip. I knew If I fell I couldn't get up, yet I tried, fell & couldn't get up. My son had to rescue me, which was depressing, yet that sense of the torch being passed to him felt good. That's what I really needed. It perked me up to try again, just to get down the hill & the muscle memory kicked in while my son recorded it. I hadn't skied that well in decades. In fact I was more graceful & didn't push the envelope like I use to. We wound up skiing for two days at two different mountains & I never fell. Mike always pushed the envelope, so refraining from that will be his biggest challenge. His skills are light years ahead of Pauls. He can easily avoid Pauls amateurish telegraphing from just one side & essentially play with him a bit like he did Roy Jones. Roy admitted that he felt Mikes weight & still knew Mike was holding back. Ultimately this bout isn't a competition, only an exibition & they both walk off with a bundle.
