What If He / She Doesn't Ask You Any Questions About Yourself

How to respond to someone you started chatting online who doesn't ask you any questions about yourself, even though you overall have an interesting conversation.

I was just told by a man that I ask questions like a little kid. Smh! My response was it’s not my fault that you don’t know how to communicate. They said they do. I said communication does involve asking questions etc…

I have had this problem. He has texted me for 2 weeks, every night. Mostly he was the one to initiate. When I do, he doesn't respond. Surface level communication. I don't get the impression that he is that interested in getting to know me and I have shared that with him. He says he is but not in a very convincing manner. When I asked if he had any questions, he just asked "what do you like to do for fun?"
Tonight was the first night he didn't text at all.
Time to move on. He clearly is not showing interest in me.

Yeah but how do you get them to do it without you telling them to do it?? 😅I don’t want him to ask me questions because I told him too, I want them to be genuine like MINE!

One reason not to ask questions, at least on the 1st or 2nd date, is because you do not want to come across as nosy, people usually volunteer a lot of info about themselves when you talk to them. Also, asking someone something about which they are not comfortable is a good way to kill the vibe.

I just asked the guy I’ve been seeing for two months this question and he said “No I’m sure I’ll learn more as time goes on” 😑

The fact that he is unaware not asking questions about her is telling so much. Mostly, these people are self absorbed and you’ll end up in a one sided relationship anyways…Really! I can tell… for whole my life I almost never came across a person who was genuinely interested in me!! It’s crazy even family doesn’t even want to get to know me, i bet my father doesn’t even know what my favorite color is… but they do want to talk about themselves! Yeah, your good for that but they get bored if you take the spotlight for even just a second…

I'm afraid to ask cuz I don't want to give him the idea to start asking me because I wanted to be genuine he doesn't care to ask me anything about myself and does not want to know why should I get to see idea start asking questions and give me the phone impression that he actually is interested in me

So my ex never wanted to ask questions. When I approached him on this subject, he replied that was in the past and he wanted to focus on the future. I disagree with his statement. My past is who made me. My education, my work history, my travels as well as family and friends. So basically, he also didnt ask questions pertaining to the present or future. Would this personal be called a narcissist?

It’s not even men that don’t ask questions I have run into so many people who do not ask any questions. Co workers, my boyfriend, family members, etc. I could understand why my family members don’t ask questions because of stuff I did in the past but it’s weird when I did nothing wrong to co workers and they’d never ask any questions back. Neediness on my part? Who knows.

Thats what i did i asked him why, he said he is sorry to make me feel like ttat and that he didnt want to push and it will come slowly so i got it

If I ask him anything he never answers hardly anything I ask him and when I do ask him something he avoids answering me or tells me in a nice way he can do whatever he wants or just doesn't call for a couple of days I always thought it's because he's working but the other day I asked him a question and I got a response two days later but he still wouldn't answer my question I finally just said I couldn't take it anymore and I said goodbye . I don't understand why he won't answer anything.

I've just asked him tonight we chat online I was asking all the question so I said to him first right no more questions I'm asking till you ask me, he replied it's OK it's all good ask me questions, I said no it's silly, then I said OK here's a question why don't you ask me any questions I don't bite, his reply was I'm tired now I will try think of a question tomorrow so I just said OK, but if it's just a general question like whst have you done today I'm not going to be impressed after all how can you even get to know each other if its all one sided even if we are just building up a friendship, he knows I think he is good looking .

I think, I personally have a bad habit of asking the same thing. Over and over again. Only somethings. I don't even realise I am doing it the time
What can I do?.

This usually happens if there too much time between the frequency of talk.

The guy I am interested in doesn't ask any personal questions nor does he ask for my phone number what is that supposed to mean

I just block these guys 😂
Most of the time they are emotionally unavailable from my experience
