In this video, Dr. Ted Naiman unpacks the science behind the our satiety score, a groundbreaking approach to understanding how fullness and satisfaction can be achieved while consuming fewer calories. By exploring four key factors — protein percentage, fiber content, energy density, and hedonics — Dr. Naiman illustrates how the satiety score is calculated and why it’s an effective tool for optimizing health and managing weight.
Gain insight into how the satiety score can help you balance food choices, improve body composition, and reduce overeating — all without the need for strict calorie counting. Whether skeptical or curious, this video offers a detailed, evidence-based look at how the satiety score works and why it matters.

Try to eat (12) whole eggs. This is about ~ 850 calories.

Everyone can drink 2, 000 calories of Soda and a 1# Sack of potato chips.

@hava: My response to Dr E was taken down 2 times
but I reposted it 3 times. The third time, I did not post
it as a "reply" because that seems to be the death knell
for posts. I'm posting this response as a new comment.
Has anyone watched the Dr. Mike Eades video that I linked?

12:05 I am a bit disappointed that you did not mention the Randle Cycle.

I’m a bit confused.. I have been using the Diet Doctor app, mainly because low carb diets claim to score very highly in satiety levels. I’ve downloaded the Hava app, using the free tier, my -almost- Keto meal plan (from the Diet Doctor app) is scoring very low in satiety levels of the Hava app.
Which approach is correct? 🤔

"Calories" is a poor denominator. Mass would be better.

So there is still no explanation that you can confidently reveal how hedonic and overall score are calculated in your app & expect us to trust the algorithm that does not really exist.
