Sky News Helen-Ann Smith says that the UK's relationship with China has changed over the 5 years since the last visit to the country.

Foreign secretary James Cleverly has said that China is an "important", "influential", and "complicated" country, which means the UK's relationship will be "just as complicated".

The lesser the interaction the better it would be for China's economic development. The UK Government commands no respect from the Chinese citizens.
