WOW - It's BEAUTIFUL! Great job Dalton! Good choice on the darker grout - white never stays white. I'm happy with the tile choice over dark - it makes it look more spacious lighter. NICE! LOVE LOVE!

This is so great seeing it all starting to come together. I did chuckle at the thought of you swinging into the shower Tarzan-style! 😂 Talk about playing ‘the floor is lava’ to have a wash. And it did make a memory.

almost lost me over this stressful bathroom build! All the hidden disasters. But, WOW, great job. It looks great. Can't wait to see the finished product. You have learned so much!

I love the tile! The gray grout was definitely a better choice than black tbh. You're making amazing progress!🤩

This turned out great Dalton...you need to stop beating yourself up over being a beginner. You got started and did it. That's the real lesson.

"Old School" leveling the tiles to each other:

Before the adhesive sets, lay 1/2 inch plywood on the tile and distribute 3 to 5 lbs per sq ft over the plywood. The tiles will level to the plywood.

and you don't have to keep buying the plastic things, which can break off just above the tile and then you have top carefully grind them out.

You are doing a great job!! Don't expect to be perfect. At least you are doing something. It's all coming together and you are learning a lot in the process. It's going great!! Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.

I have paid professionals a lot of money to have tiles that weren't flat or grout that wasn't even. You will always be proud of this tile job. It looks great 😊

It looks great! I know from experience that when you're the one doing the work, you can see every tiny flaw. But no one else will ever see it. And look what you started with. I think it's unbelievable that you made it look so good.

Not going to lie to you Dalton...three months ago I wasn't "seeing it." But now I can see your vision. Looks incredible!

I definitely would have unscrewed those floor levelers for reuse, too. Love the tile! I hope you can buy more of it to use in the entrance/laundry area.

Fabulous fabulous. Shame you didn’t film your entry into the shower🤣🤣😉😉 I was taught from an early age to look for the mistakes so you would be better next time. A blessing and a curse in one! It can mean you are never satisfied so please don’t fall in that trap. You did an amazing job!👏👏👏👏🥂🥂🥂

Looks great and every time you see it you can think ‘ I did this’ and be proud of your work. I know several days have passed and you probably already have but be sure to seal the grout joints as soon as you can

Cold weather season is here! Time to add some insulation to those walls as well.

The new tile looks GREAT! As someone said, since you are the one who did the work, you can see every little "flaw". As you were mentioning the "lippage" I just thought you're gonna have rugs there anyway!

Again, yes, you did an awesome job! And just think how much $$ you saved by doing it yourself plus learned a new skill!! Happy New Year!
