One thing i have noticed is the ever increasing amount of products available under the wollies brand, will be half the price of competitors products, then when the competitors fold or cant afford to compete, when they are out of the way the woolies price goes up

When I shop now it's what is on special? Whatever is 30% or more off is what I buy to eat. If it's fish I eat fish, if it's spaghetti I eat spaghetti. I cant afford to buy what I feel like. They also lie through their teeth with the prices saying for example: "was $7.99" "now $6.50" when I have been buying it a week before at $5.99.

I don't shop coles or wollies anymore haven't for quite some time, I shop at the smaller independent supermarkets.

I am a security guard (mall cop), I have no care for large retailers calling about shop steals, not my job anyway, billions in profit and never a single day with their own security on the door

I had a small 1000m2 garden and I sold to the public
I was way cheaper and 10 x the quality.
They emailed me and every Wednesday I picked their orders washed it and put it in the Coolroom for pickup on Thursday avo.
I closed down in the end because people became lazy.
They would rather go to the supermarket because it was a one stop shop, for vegetables, meat, cleaning products, etc.
People have brought this on themselves because they didn't support local.
