As a nurse for forty years, the health care industry needs to be totally reevaluated. The industry is ONLY interested in your money, not your health.

”My skin was actually preparing to open” is probably the most terrifying thing I’ve ever heard.

girl needs to ask for a "real bill" as she got scammed, she also needs to sue whom ever injected her

Moral of the story is you don't need to inject anything into your body unless it is by your primary care physician or a hospital. Don't trust shady people/clinics in Los Angeles.

So.. they used non-sterile equipment and gave her a severe bacterial infection and *she* has to shoulder the costs of all the consequences? What kind of dustopian nightmare is that...

As a physician, I strongly urge people to stop allowing unlicensed, untrained people to place IVs or inject anything into your body.

I think just living through what you did is a miracle and who ever gave you those injections should PAY YOUR hospital bill's and PAY for your pain and suffering! God bless you little lady! ❤

I was diagnosed with atrial septal defect in my early teens, but my abusive dad didn’t want me to get the surgery bc I’d have missed work (had 1300 a month in rent to cover). I was a heroin addict for ten years then sobered up and went to mortuary school. Now I have a real life. But I can’t get anywhere in it, even sober for ten years in one week, because I’m a few hundred thousand in debt because of my heart surgery. I avoided it as long as I could bc I can’t afford it, but I had to get it stat when it started to actually kill me. Between my $600 a month student loans and my 1200 a month hospital bill, I can’t afford a home. This is what it’s like to “get your life together” in America. There is no hope anymore. That’s business baby!

Your lawsuit against the B12 company should pay off your medical bills.

In America you're not a patient you're a customer.

This gal is actually lucky to be alive. One of my old friends went in for a B12 injection before work. She felt unwell with pain at work so she left to the ER. They gave her pain meds and sent her home. She woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't feel her leg. Her boyfriend took her to the ER again. She went into emergency surgery, and while she was out, the surgeon came out to her family to say he'd have to amputate her leg. Her family gave permission, but when the surgeon went back in, apparently she had been eaten up by something. They had to leave her under anesthesia and she passed away. It was a flesh eating bacteria from the injection. She died within 18 hours.

I am Irish and live in the Republic of Ireland and I have a regular problem with vitamin B12 deficiency and anaemia. However, in my experience, no one except an experienced gp can administer B12 injections. Most of the women on my mum's side of the family are deficient in B12 and none of my cousins or aunts have ever been given B12 injections except by a registered medical doctor. I am shocked at how this poor girl ended up having such a dreadful reaction to the B12 injections. Before you get them here in Ireland, your doctor will do blood tests to make sure you need the B12 injections. If your levels are within the normal range, you won't be given the injections.

The place that did that to her should have to pay her hospital bills! Evil!

I just got a B12 injection at the doctor’s cause of a deficiency. I can’t imagine this happening. Really read the stuff before you sign off!!!

There's a scene in Grey's anatomy where the guy that owns the bar across the street learns he needs to have surgery. He owns a bar so he knows he can't afford it but all the doctors keep saying "but we're gonna save your life" and "worry about that later, let us save your life now" and it's like...what's life gonna be like now that he's been stripped of everything he has? (They find a way to help him)
