We have had one for about 6 months.. we have a 2, 000 sqft house and have it placed in the living room area which has a vaulted ceiling so plenty of open space.. we have 2 dogs and 2 cats.. I have terrible allergies and severe asthma so my wife bought this to see if it would help the air quality in our home.. I can 1, 000 percent tell you it absolutely has.. my breathing and allergy issue when I’m in my home is virtually gone and under control.. we keep it set in auto all day and it stays between 92-100 all day.. when I’m cooking or when doors or windows are open it drops as it should when there is a change in quality.. I then turn it on MAX until it reaches 100 then back to auto it goes.. this thing has changed our lives completely and I cannot thank shark enough.. if you are thinking of buying one don’t hesitate put it in your cart and hit buy you won’t regret it.. not to mention they have one of the best warranties out of any home appliance companies out there

i just received my air purifier and its never left 100%. it almost seems like a gimick, as all videos I see online, their air quality hardly ever/never starts and stays at 100% clean air. yes I removed the filter from the bag. i bought this purifier from Shark directly.

So I guess I assumed that this thing would just be on all the time, but it looks like the main way to use. It is to set it to a run for an hour or a few hours and then it turns off. I saw that someone asked if it can be set up to Run all the time and the answer was yes, but my question now is – what is the optimal way to run one of these? Would it be typical to just turn it on for like two hours a day and that’s it or should it only be turned on a few times a week, or is having a get on always The best option?

The question is will filters be available in 5 years the way in home tech moves these days I’d say in about 2-3 years these machines will be obsolete and shark would have moved on discontinuing these products. Happens all the time these days get something that needs to be changed on a regular basis that would be the best thing to do holds them accountable to keep parts readily available. Plus that “5 year guarantee” depends on many factors including the location of your purifier as some areas may not be as “dirty” as others

Mine has never stayed on 100. It fluctuates based upon what I’m doing and ramps the fan up appropriately. I have a German shepherd and can definitely see a reduced amount of dust on surfaces and my house always smells clean. First floor where I put it is open and about 1400 sq ft.

i just went to pick this air purifier from best buy and its never left
100%. No mater what room i put it it says 100 all the time. Which is weird, as all videos

Bestbuy today should i return it? Is their a way to reset the machine or the sensor??

I bought 2 one for my office and one for home both show 100 air quality

Why is the ring flashing red saying check filter when I have done that several times? How do I reset?

Anti-odour not explained? Also why do you not get a remote when spending this much money on this, yet on smaller version you do?

Is the anti odour thing safe around dogs? Is it ok for them to breathe it in

If this unit is claiming the air is 100% clean, does that mean I can turn it off because it's job is done?

Once the main hepa filter is installed in the purifier can it be removed? Tried removing it and the filter cover would not open. Yes I was turning it in the correct direction.

I just got one. I know it's working well, but it never showed under 98% air quality no matter which room I set it in. I have 2 dogs and dust so that was surprising. Update: It went down to 65 when I had the air fryer going :)

i couldn't buy a shark filter a year after I Bought my last Shark air purifier, had to go aftermarket. and the screen went out. i love my shark vac but will never buy an air purifier from them again.

Spent nearly $600 on this thing to work for a week and now red light will not go off filters are cleaned reset like video suggested powered off and back on unplugged plugged back in what’s wrong ????

Mine said 100% from the get go, which I know it cannot be true as it was placed in an area that has dogs and cats.

Is it bad for the unit if I ran it without removing the bag? I accidentally did that for a few hours
