I bought an inexpensive Bissell vacuum about 3 years ago and was impressed with how well made and how well it works, thus, I ordered one of these Air400s and it's to arrive tomorrow. Can't wait because the air is bad here with so many wild fires going on! [September 3, 2020]

What is the difference between max mode and high fan speed ? or silent mode vs low fan speed ?

I have it close to a wall...but not touching it and another teacher is adamant about this...she says it needs to be turned around because the air is sucked in and is expelled out the top. While i generally agree with this, I dont believe it is necessary and would be a design flaw to have to read the panel in reverse all the time...what say you Bissell?

My Bisselll Air 400 is making an anoying high pitched humming noise when the blower fan is on. What should I do? It makes the noise with or without the filters.

The front doesn't light up or tell me the air quality level.

I've had this product for 1 month and the display now stays red at 999 even after cleaning. It's been on this number for about 5 days already. Why or what would be the reason for this to happen?

if the power goes out will it power back on by itself ?

Any idea why mine sounds like it pushes a lot of air an then not so much it sounds like it's cutting in an out I had one was good for about a month started making this noise sent it back to where I got it ordered another one an its making same noise straight out of the box but it only does it on medium an high
