Great ideas! Where I am we get strong winds. I would have to use the soil to bury the edges a bit to keep them from blowing away a easily

I made mine almost the same way. I used 2 1" pipes to make the in ground posts that way it makes it a little taller on the sides. Then I use woodchips to seal the plastic with the ground. We had back to back 22 degree nights and everything was fine. I'd say you did a fantastic job. I have 5 tunnels up this year 1 for the seedlings. I'm in Pennsylvania 6b and I'm 47 days ahead of last year. Next year I'm building raised garden beds and I'll have hoops on all of them. When it's warm throw some netting on to keep the critters out.

I love the simplicity: thank you for sharing your cost friendly idea..it can be adapted for different weather conditions, pest protection (getting lots of rain in Ireland at the moment)
