Most companies are too far behind the current trends because they are waiting for the ROI of the trend to be present before committing to it, at which point it is too late and the amount of ground you need to cover to catch up is immense. People need to start investing in platforms before the ROI is present, so when the platform does blow up they will be in a really good place to start capitalizing the opportunity, instead of just starting out.

True that! The sceptics will always miss out on new lucrative marketing channels for that exact reason. If they don't get a dashboard with analytics they won't take this risk.

99% of people lose because they’ve been brainwashed into wanting instant gratification. If it’s not making you money instantly, it must be a terrible idea and you should steer very, very clear of it.

The saddest thing is I didn’t just learn this recently. I’ve known this since I was like 16 or so (27 now). But there’s a difference between _knowing_ and _accepting_ something. I knew it, but I didn’t trust that my knowledge was correct because everyone around me always told me I was wrong. Gary is the first person to come along and indirectly tell me, “Yo, dude, every single crazy thing you’ve ever thought, has been 100% correct. You don’t even know.
