My experience mirrors yours almost exactly. This DAW does things pretty much as I want. Like you I wish I’d found Studio One earlier (although I wonder if I would have said that about version 1 or 2). My midi needs are also relatively simple and I’ve easily connected 5 controller keyboards and control surfaces. While I understand people’s loyalty to their chosen DAW, for me it took the demise of Cakewalk to make me realise that I just want the best tool for my needs and to look at what else is out there. Glad I found Studio One.

Are u aware that this is influenced by cubase ? One of the developers from the original cubase daw also Did code to build on this daw....
I still use cubase, cakewalk .
None the less great video on your input .

It is a shame that it took Cakewalks demise to see what I really was missing out on Studio One 3 is where i know its at. Funny how you can get caught up and settle for less. Although Sonar had somethings that it did well in terms of sound on sound and other things it did well. Long story short. Im home now :)
