Now the Series has long been teasing that Rick Prime has been a threat. We of course had Evil Morty and thus it makes sense that there'd also be an even more evil Rick out there. Over the years we've been fed breadcrumbs about what happened to Ricks to make him this way and Rick prime was first mentioned all the way back in Close Rick-Counters of the Rick Kind. Dealing heavily with the council of Ricks and an Evil Rick it's during this that the idea was planted that there was a bigger threat out there.

Apologies for the re-upload. Posted it yesterday unlisted and Youtube restricted it for over 18s only. I disputed this and they lifted the ban. They then added it again once it was live. Youtube stay youtubing but I hope you don't mind the re-upload. Have to pay for editors and stuff so we can't really afford to have videos banned and restricted. Thanks, Paul

It's crazy the original Jerry was closer to killing Rick prime than Rick himself.

I love the throwaway joke, "This guy? SUPER weird." And how it actually became an important plot point 🤣

my theory is rick prime didn't plan to kill his family, the bomb only took out the garage so he clearly wasn't aiming for the whole house most likely he just wanted to destroy rick data on portals to be petty and diane and summer just happened to walk in, we know from the dino's he cant see the other side of the portal. he left probably forgot about rick and at some point went back to his own dimension just to find it destroyed. he probably thinks rick crononberged his world on purpose as revenge

Rick Prime and C-137 are polar opposites:

Prime's conversation with his universe's Jerry (something like "never got to into the concept") indicates that Prime doesn't do the whole Morty/Smith family thing. He left and never came back. I suspect that If he's not into it, there's a good chance he killed C-137's family so that he wouldn't be held back by them, and would be free to science.

Moving along from Prime, It seems to be a running standard that normal ricks do much like prime did and leave their families for the multiverse, likely coming back later to get Mortys to help hide themselves, (and because some extent they do care about beth/their families.

But C137 is different - he never wanted to leave his family - they were taken from him. They were so important to him that he wages war against all other Ricks to get his revenge, and hunkers down with Prime's Morty in case he comes back.

Only Morty is (as far as we know) Rick Prime's family. The rest of them were left behind when Rick Cronenberged the original universe. After killing Jerry, none of them are left.

I do appreciate that Rick loves Beth 🖤 Calling her sweetie and honey. Helping her in the background, hugging, holding her hand and complementing her in general. Its cute. Also how he confidently trusts Summer to understand, and follow through with failsafe procedures

I’m so late to the party I just now realized in the earlier seasons Rick “abandoning” his family wasn’t actually the same Rick that we see now it’s the one who came into the reality to be with his family and never told anyone. I’m glad to have a clearer understanding of it since there are so many and I knew they weren’t each others original Rick and Morty obviously bc ricks original morty wasn’t born, but I love that they aren’t each others original. It makes the connection more sincere because they choose to stay.

When Rick Prime is offered a team up by Jerry, he passes on it stating that he really doesn’t team up anymore, “managing people, such a headache”. This implies he DID once have his own group of ricks he led but that at this point in time doesn’t anymore, and has no interest in. Given what we’ve seen of the citadel, the quality of being around Ricks of other universes doesn’t seem all that great, and Rick Prime might have realized this sooner

At the end you said Rick prime was willing to kill Beth and Dianne to get Rick on the right path but … Rick prime dropped the bomb through the portal to kill our rick, not his wife and kid… killing Beth and Dianne was unintended

I really want the explanation for Rick Prime being everywhere at once isn’t just him using clones or robots, but somehow he’s literally found a way to be everything, everywhere, all at once. He has some how put himself in a state of superposition across the multiverse

If Rick Prime is portal-ing using green portals, isnt he only traversing the central finite curve (CFC)? I wonder if he made it. If Rick Prime was building a Rick Army (from the universes where Rick's the smartest) could the CFC be only a petri dish for the Rick Army before 'going golden' and taking in the wider multiverse? Could Season 8 be Rick Prime vs Evil Morty with C137 and Morty (Prime?) bouncing about in the middle? Wider multiverse would allow us to meet Smart Mortys, Smart Jerrys and non-dead Dianes.

I’d go a step up and say Rick Prime might’ve done something better than Immortality, he might’ve found a way to be Nigh-Omnipresent. It would explain how he can be in multiple places at once, and heal up so quickly since he could just switch him body to a time/place he wasn’t hurt or had super healing

Rick Prime, Evil Morty, Space Beth ... Can't wait to see the "dark" versions of Summer and Jerry. We have a glimpse of it with "Night Summer" and maybe "Cronenberg Jerry".

So that explain's the "absentee father".. So Rick Prime left his family, then C137 came in. It was a recurring dynamics between beth and Rick back in the earlier seasons

So there are essentially two types of ricks. The Ricks that don’t turn down the deal and abandon their family for knowledge and power, and the Ricks that do turn it down and get their families killed in order to be spurred on into creating the tech on their own since every Rick should technically be capable of doing it. I feel like the citadel ricks are the ones that accepted and the ones they consider rogue are the ones that didn’t and are out there killing other ricks in hopes of revenge with the exception of rick prime who started all this and isn’t a founder of the citadel because of his need for seclusion.

The hype for next season HAS to be the some of the biggest for a single season in a while

We didn’t actually see Rick Prime kill Diane and Beth so we don’t know for sure it was him. I could see it being a setup by one of Ricks many enemies. Maybe Rick Primes Diane died of natural causes (after Beth was born obviously). Which causes Rick Prime to dive into his work which was why he was so mad/jealous when our Rick refuses the gift in favor of his family. That or Rick Prime has/had a plan that required him to go around to different dimensions helping his other selves unlock the key to the portal gun. Either way really excited for S7

I don't know. The nerd in me wants to believe that he's the big bad and that this is going to be the end when c137 catches him. The logical part of me understands that they are starting to pump out Rick and Morty seasons like never before. It's becoming a cult classic similar to Family Guy, The Simpsons, people love this stuff. So much so that we have channels like "heavy spoilers" dedicated to helping us understand it better. So the logical side of me says that the character isn't actually the big bad because they need this thing to last for at least another six to seven seasons, you have to realize how much money games like Fortnite are paying for Rick. Just think about how much money they are making merchandise, Android games, I mean it's basically a I think the real reason the show was popular is because they are not afraid to push boundaries, speak the truth, say what's on their mind I think Americans are truly desperate for that right now. So I don't know maybe we get another seven seasons of him chasing Rick prime, or maybe Rick prime really isn't the big bad

I wonder what if evil Morty was Rick’s prime sidekick in the past. That’s why he hates Rick’s so much. Suddenly they were separated and evil Morty were trapped in the curve
