Go Go Bird Eagle RC Bird Flight Test Review

Pros
- 700 mm wingspan flying flapping wing ornithopter in the shape of an eagle. Comes in very nice carrying case for portability.
- Constructed of crash resistant EPP foam. Weighs only 155 grams with battery, and does not require registration in most countries.
- Powerful brushless motor controls the flapping.
- 7.4V 450mah battery provides over 7 1/2 minutes of flight time per charge.
- 3 channel control of speed, turning, and pitch. Speed is controlled by the frequency of flapping. Turning and pitch are controlled through elevons attached to the eagles tail feathers structure.
- Up to 500 meter control range with controller. Controller includes audio cues of flight status, and telemetry cues of the eagles in-flight altitude, and battery state (low battery warning).

Cons
- As with most ornithopters, this is not a windy day flier. It's just not fast enough to fight a headwind. Best flown on low wind days.
- Somewhat large turning radius. Best flown in an open field.
- The circle position button on the controller has no audio cue. Makes it difficult to determine if it has been activated or not.

It’s super cool. Even the smaller ones that goes for 40 bucks. Bought one for my brother and one for me. I love flying it high, just turning the flapping off, watching it glide and then turning the flapping back on. If you cant get this one, definitely get the smaller and cheaper one!

My five and seven year olds were able to easily fly this on their own. The bird is very responsive and the battery lasts longer than other small drones we have bought in the past. For the money you can’t go wrong.

Very cool but, I have ever seen an eagle flying like this. they take long tenacious takes and sail a lot. it flies more like a dove than an eagle. But it’s fantastic. Thank you for sharing. 🤔😂

That Eagle is amazing except for the fact it flies like a Pigeon?

PS. They are called “ Tail-elevaterons “.

Sounds like dentist drill when flying.

At first I thought it was about bird-like flight. Then with a Popella. ;-)

Am I the one who was thinking how awesome it would be if you could drop fake bird poop out of this thing? LOL

I noticed that the frame of the tail is showing on the top instead of the bottom like the wings

I saw the smaller bird earlier, but it has 4 wings and so looks odd in flight, more like a dragonfly.

I like this one. Hope it comes out soon. Can't see anyone mistaking it for an eagle though. Too small, wings flap WAY too fast, and it doesn't soar like a thermal glider, as Eagle do too. In truth, I see it flying and the first thing that comes to mind is "pigeon".

But I still want one. I like the blue parrot with the red head best.

I hope it is compatible with multi-protocol transmitters. As a flyer I have no interest in a little one-handed thumb controller.

Happy flying!
