Jaishankar highlights the ‘irony’ behind the I.N.D.I.A alliance

After PM Modi launched a veiled attack on newly Opposition formed alliance I.N.D.I.A by comparing them with East India Company, Indian Mujahideen and Popular Front of India (PFI). External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on July 25 lampooned the Opposition in his unique style yet again. Highlighting the ‘irony’, the EAM said, “Those who seek intervention from abroad now believe that I.N.D.I.A can serve as cover”. 26 Opposition parties on July 17 formed an alliance called “I.N.D.I.A.” to challenge PM Modi-led BJP in approaching Lok Sabha Polls.
