Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you..... Blossom singing "Nobody Does It Better", by Carly Simon! I'm sure that most of you have already heard Buttercup sing this song. It is now time for Blossom to take a shot at it! Buttercup has already learned that Blossom is perfect as the leader of the Powerpuff Girls. Of course, at the same time, she's not too happy with being second-fiddle in the group. Later on, during a battle, Blossom performed her usual duty of giving orders to the team. However, Buttercup was not having any of that. She snapped and demanded why she couldn't make decisions in the field and stormed away. In a fit of guilt, Blossom chased after Buttercup, leaving Bubbles to defeat the monster, which she was able to do easily. As soon as Blossom found Buttercup, she attempted to apologize. But, Buttercup cut her off and said that she thought they came to an agreement that they were a team, and not one would standout above the other. Blossom got choked up, remembering her promise. However, with all of the crazy crimefighting going on constantly, it can be hard to keep promises and fall through on commitments. Blossom then told Buttercup that she was totally right. A team is only as strong as their other teammate. Buttercup nodded, and reiterated that it's very important to listen to one another. Blossom sighed, and said that Buttercup was right. She also mentioned that the three of them all have a special place on the team. Blossom suggested to Buttercup that she be known as the tactician, and that Buttercup would be the combat specialist of the trio. Each Powerpuff Girl would be in charge of their own department. That new idea was satisfactory enough for Buttercup. Blossom smirked and joked that as far as fighting goes, nobody does it better. The two of them laughed, and wound up in a nice long hug. After their hug, Buttercup said that Bubbles needed a role. Blossom smiled, and said that Bubbles was the heart and joy of the group and helps maintain the peace, both in the group and in the community. After they got home, Blossom was eager to sing her own version of "Nobody Does It Better" by Carly Simon. She performed it, recorded it, and the rest was history. I hope you enjoy this video!
