I imported a US mmWave model and I use it in the UK. Works great no problem at all, but I later learnt that we do not have mmWave 5G infrastructure in the UK. It’s all mid-band. Even so, the highest I have got is 737Mbs on EE and 5G is everywhere in London, speeds are amazing consistently.

Does the mmwave antenna work if the iPhone is being used outside the US (where mmwave 5g is available)

So just because I’m living somewhere in Asia, and I am currently using an iPhone 12, we don’t have this thing too. Since we don’t really have A lot of 5G towers yet

I think the eu model is not worth it because the phone is the same price and comes with out the mmWave antenna

I bought the 12 pro max in Europe from a 3rd party and got the mm antenna, Im a bit confused as to why. Anyone know why?

😂 we in the uk don’t want it. It was made because in the us their is not as meany antennas than their is in the uk or eu we in the uk are fully equipped we don’t need no window

J have EU model, and he works perfect !Because we dont have 5G in Serbia !And J dont need anthena

I just got my iphone 13 pro max yesterday… then i found it dont have 5g antenna

5G is coming soon and yes the antenna do look different between US and other countries like UK.

it is my 1st iphone. i thought my phone is dublicate as i dont hav that 5g antenna. bt its nt.. haha. thank you very much
