When thinking about what message I would want to instill within my son on his Bar-Mitzvah as he begins his next stage of life, I honestly couldn’t think of a more important message than the one my parents instilled within me from when I was very little: You are valued. You are important. You deserve to be respected. You can achieve great things. The message of internal worth has helped me in every aspect of my life. After these reflections, I wrote this song. I hope my son will always feel how much my husband and I love him, are proud of him, and believe in him.

This version features my husband, Yehuda Dukes, on vocals to make the song more special and meaningful to our son.
