I can distinctly remember downloading some 100 greatest guitar solos compilation.on Napster when I was a kid. When I heard that monster No More Tears riff for the first time, I pictured a BEASTLY viking looking guy. Of course at the time Zakk was clean shaved. Ironic how his look changed to exactly what I had originally pictured in my mind as a kid.

That was one of the greatest solos, not to mention the riff in all of metal/rock history.

That song popped in my head after God knows how long today and I play the video, and find this which was just posted hours ago. Amazing because I always wondered how they wrote their tunes, and just like that, here's Zakk saying they just banged it out spontaneously. Such a catchy bass line and the guitar riffs are brutal. Ozzy's vocals of course sounded great.

I talked to Mike Inez (who was an absolute champion and gentleman) after an AIC show and asked him about that song. He said he couldn't get the bass part right and they brought in Bob Daisley to help him. I also met Bob about a year after that and he confirmed the story, showing me the bass Mike used to record the final version. This seems to be slightly at odds with how Zac describes it.

The thing is Mike Inez who came with the (INTRO) BUT Bob Daisley wrote / Play 100% on the album.
Mike Inez ( love that bass player) But beside the intro to (NO MORE TEARS) . On another video (YOUTUBE) Zakk Wylde say that Mike Inez wrote the intro of No More Tears and then the video end.!!!
So what i understand is this. Mike Inez came with the intro and stop. Mike Inez = Inspiration
