So Southeast Asia-West relationship is much longer than East Asia-West relationship.. Westernized names are very very very common in Southeast Asia.. Southeast Asia has mixed culture, local culture + India + East Asia + Middle East + West.. If you are East Asian, then be careful if you want to talk about Southeast Asia.. It will be sensitive.. Southeast Asians are often treated as "less Asian" just because we are often compared to you East Asians.. This is because people Southeast Asia has a mixed culture.. lol 😑😒🙄

Filipinos use both Spanish and English names because it is our culture already. Philippines is founded in Spanish mixed with American and Asian culture. When our Korean students came in our school. They also changed their names to English since Filipinos are using English names mostly.
