Indeed, his writing ritual began the night before at a bar. He believed that alcohol helped him write. Maybe it does…at first. Then, it kills you.

I like some of his writing advice but I mean no disrespect, I write that many words, that are great, in less time and plenty of the work was accepted for publication and won awards. If I am doing it in less time than Hemingway then that says alot. Hemingway was also very poor until he wrote his books, and was writing his books while he was poor.
