What a shame, how many women with children could use these empty homes. What a heartless society. Disgusting.

Veterans paid dearly for the right to use that water! As Taxpayers we paid for that water too! What audacity for the military to claim water rights!! WTH?!!

Don’t forget insurance owns us too! Property owners can’t afford the sky high insurance and property tax.

some greedy, greedy, inconsiderate, self centered, people around here. What a shame. Many of the homeless are more then willing to work, but not having a stable place to live takes away from the ability to make it to work on time, groomed well, and belongings safely secured.

This site doesn't use water from the city. So the question might be asked, what's in the water? Maybe that's why they moved everybody out in the first place.

any of these shelters, even if they're not cosmetically pristine, would be better than having to live in a tent, out in some field or under a bridge.this situation is ridiculous no one should be sleeping on the street when there's empty places for them to stay and be sheltered.

This is really sad. All the excuses insult the intelligence of those trying to help. People need help, people need homes, people need to be treated with dignity and compassion, not left behind and forgotten. Those city officials need to go! If they can't step up they need to step down.
