As someone who voted for Obama and is ride or die for Bernie, I wouldn't have been shattered if McCain had won in 2008. I disagree with his politics, but the man was a real treasure and a class act from which the GOP of today is so far removed. I hope he's resting in peace.

They don't make politicians like Senator McCain anymore. Everytime I watch this speech, it moves me to tears. It's a very gracious and moving speech, especially when he talked about Obama's grand mother not living to see this day (she passed away on the election day ..one day before he got elected).
