“It’s not hard, it’s just your professor is wope!” Hahah! Sooo true! I wish you were our professor! Indeed medicine makes more sense if we can just make these connections stick in our brains! Thanks for helping us on that doc! You’re a lifesaver! Shared your vids to my cohort!

Been watching your awesome content for two years. I self diagnosed with pituitary dependent Cushings Disease and 1.5 years later, Diagnosed! Had my TSS pituitary surgery on 8/9/22
Not in remission BUT severity has fallen significantly (50%)
Cortisol from 32.1 to 18.6 ACTH from 143 to 66
Praying for remission but after 17 years w active Cushings it’s gonna take more!! BLA I suspect.
Must say - your Cushings video says if the dexamethasone suppression test is normal, Cushings isn’t present. “What the what!”That’s false - although normally a reliable assay, the majority of CD patients are cyclical, which is why providers should not exclude the diagnosis over a suppressed cortisol result. In these cases, if clinical signs and symptoms are present - keep testing (midnight blood cortisol and late night salivary cortisol testing is preferred, as these show a lack of circadian rhythm and diurnal rhythm of cortisol. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Best of luck and thanks educating the masses :)

I have four subjects to study: Neurology, Endocrinology, Infectious, and Nephrology. Does this playlist cover all Endocrinology so that i can start from Zero? Or should i start neurology for now? Thank you!
