A2K will provide rising talent in the United States and Canada the chance to compete and become a part of the next global girl group.

Beginning this incredible journey, in-person auditions will be held in five cities in the States: Atlanta (September 10th) – Chicago (September 14th) – NYC (September 17th & 18th) – Dallas (September 20th) – LA (September 23rd–25th ) and will be chosen to bootcamp in Los Angeles. The semifinalists will be flown to JYP Entertainment headquarters in Korea where they will undergo intensive training from K-Pop’s top executives, choreographers, and producers. Finally, the winners will be chosen to comprise this supergroup.

The super group comprised through A2K will partner with both JYP Entertainment and Republic Records for all future music releases.

I was excited to audition because ive always wanted to audition again for a company like when they did global auditions in the past. I have before but always failed in the round right before going to korea OOPS, ive been training all since then so this outta nowhere made me super excited. . . . .but then i saw that the age requirement was 12 to 16 and wanted to scream cuz im way too old now not fair TT__TT but i do hope that whoever joins is willing to put in the work!! Sending good vibes!!💞💞

The way I’m CRYING ON MY BEDROOM FLOOR? Performing as a singer and dancer has always been my dream, but this year I told myself I had to give up, get realistic, and go to college. This changes everything… it’s far-fetched, but I’ve worked hard for years in singing and dancing lessons, and this just seems like such fateful timing… but I just turned 17.

For the first time in my life I wish I was younger. Just three years and I would have been in the outside age to audition. 😮‍💨
Still stoked to watch this go down, and I hope it's a success that paves the way for more well trained American groups.

Yes work ethic, discipline, that I should say lack in American or western artist. Once they got famous, they act what they want. So you can see how intact the Kpop groups fandoms are. Because we feel valued by the artist. We cherish their passion, we invest money for them 😁 Hello merchs, albums and concerts.

I'm 5 months too old to audition - I believe the age requirement should allow for anybody still in high school to join. Also, I went to an american public middle school and they did not tell us our gpas until high school, so I feel bad for the 12-13 year olds who will have to figure it out.

Let's be honest nowadays, how many new artist from western music boom right away? But in Kpop now, you can hear a new group that will debut or groups that will have comeback and how each fandom prepare their time supporting the artist and yes money. This is a great changer for western or American music I should say.
